MALDINI is a contemporary art gallery based in Santiago, Chile. Founded in 2024, Maldini collaborates with an array of artists across diverse circles and generations —encompassing both the Chilean local scene and the broader international art realm— through curated exhibitions at its venue and involvement in art fairs. Maldini's artists contextualize themselves within the recent turn of the century, despite belonging to different generations and realities, engage collectively in dialogues with the Art History.

In this regard, Maldini's curatorial approach ensures continuity and encourages exploration of novel contemporary artistic practices while keeping a close watch on historical references, which serves as a reminder that the fluidity of these trends is only possible when we discern what the works uphold from the History, what they retain, and what they forecast. undoubtedly, we are witnesses of an ongoing paradigm shift —not only within visual arts— where nature is increasingly seen as a political entity, a realm of perpetual conflict and negotiation, and where political approaches are steadily embracing ecological, ecofeminist, and postcolonial perspectives, alongside a distinct post-povera aesthetic that has been evolving since the late sixties.

Therefore, the gallery’s program accentuates the exposure of diverse artistic statements about the contemporary world that are currently in circulation, aiming to illustrate how artists’ perspectives on this matter form an integrated information system, structured as a network of insights, inquiries, and proposals, in which individual and collective interests and visions of our time converge.
